NEW STATE LAW FOR BUILDING CONTRACTORS STARTING NOVEMBER 1, 2009
Listed below are Permit applications for Building permits and an information form for licensed contractors to complete to help speed the permitting process. These forms do not in any way guarantee that a permit will be issued. You will need to obtain your permits from the Building Official (City Inspector) before any work has been started to avoid fines and/or other action from the City of Alva.
Electric, Plumbing, & Mechanical Contractors are required to be registered with the City of Alva before working in the City Limits, or before working on a home supplied by City water. Failure to register could result in a citation to the person, or persons doing work. Contact Linda Schwerdtfeger at 580.327.1340 for a City License, or email her.
