Alva Public Library to Open With Guidelines in Place

The Alva Public Library will be reopening Monday, June 1st

With the following Guidelines.

 

¨ Patrons can come to the circulation desk on the main floor and request materials

 

¨ The stacks will not be available for browsing and there will be no areas to sit

 

¨ Only 5 people will be allowed in the library at a time due to social distancing recommendations

 

¨ Please make your visit short and sweet

 

¨ Only 2 computers will be available for use with 30 minute sessions that can be scheduled ahead of time

 

¨ Restrooms and water fountains will NOT be available (We didn't catch in the Newsgram Ad that it said they would be available. They are not open to the public at this time)

 

¨ The use of masks is recommended for the safety of all

 

¨ At this time youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent

 

¨ Curbside pick-up will continue for those patrons that prefer to not enter the building

 

¨ All materials will be quarantined for a week after they are returned to the library

 

¨ The library staff appreciates your patience during this time of working though how to protect the health of vulnerable library patrons and maintain the health of the library staff
