Garret Lahr is an Alva, Oklahoma native. He graduated from Alva High School and received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Garret moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma where he received his Master of Business Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He currently works at NWOSU as the Division of Business Chair and farms/ranches west of Aline, Oklahoma with his father. He received his Doctorate of Business Administration in March 2022 from the University of Phoenix. I look forward to giving back to the community through serving on the Alva City Council.
