 Melody Theadman began as a City Council Member in April 2013.  After moving out of her ward, she was elected to City Clerk in April 2015.  Melody has lived in Alva most of her life.  Melody graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and has worked at the Alva Farmer's Co-op for 36 years.  Melody is married to William Theadman and they have two children, Zach and Cari, as well as two grandsons.

Trent Goss began his first term as City Treasurer in April 2013.  Prior to becoming the City Treasurer, Trent served on Alva’s City Council for five years.  Trent is currently the President and CEO for Hopeton State Bank and has been employed there for the last 28 years.  Trent is married to Cindy Goss.  Together they have three children, Avery, Graham and Quinn.
