Due to unanticipated issues with the scheduled water line tie ins for the new Senior Citizens Center, this work is being rescheduled for Tuesday October 7, 2025, after the school busses run. City of Alva crews will be utilizing today and Monday to prepare for the new scope of work.
There are therefore no planned outages today or Monday, but Tuesday morning the affected area will remain between 2nd and 4th Streets and Choctaw and Santa Fe Streets. Tuesday, we will anticipate no water service to this area, and potentially low to no water pressure in the adjacent areas for approximately four hours.
